    I spent many gas trimmers in the past. When I say many I mean many. I actually used to own a landscape company, we used a commercial 2-cycle trimmer Stihl. I am no more in this area, but still likes to have equipment with a certain power. How to use trimmer with extension cords are a mystery to me. I decided that I wanted a 2-cycle trimmer, so I turned to a version of Honda 4-stroke and then came across this 36V by Black and Decker. I was skeptical, but seeing as they give you a 30 day free trial, not because the thought. It is so powerful or more, like a lot of gas trimmers out there? Yes it is. It is as powerful as my 2-cycle commercial grade Stihl, I used? No, it is, but it’s damn close. This thing is clean, environmentally friendly, healthy for me to use and maintain. Some low-rated reviews also listed here, but if you really read, is almost as if they themselves Southfork Ranch and try to cut the property for a fee. These people should not have bought something like that to begin with. This product is not made for them. And plenty of power to cut easily through the leaves harder, and I can really make my “medium” sized yard 2-3 times on a single charge. This trimmer is nice! I would recommend it to anyone with a yard of nominal size. Seeing is believing! I do not agree with me, send back with in 30 days, and write your review.

    First, let me start by saying that this is an effective tool for a battery trimmer. In fact the only one. 080 dual-battery-powered line trimmer I’ve ever seen. It is powerful enough to cut almost all types of vegetation in excess. However, I have a problem that has led me to return the trimmer (actually two trimmers, when I got my first trimmer for an exchange and then had to return to replace the trimmer for reimbursement).

    The first trimmer worked fine for about 15 minutes. I cut down a fence, when suddenly stopped working without warning. After a battery during the night, I tried to use the trimmer again. At this point, it would just beep and the head of the trimmer will not turn on. And after pressing the trigger for a few seconds, the battery begins to smoke. Needless to say I immediately called Amazon and asked for replacement. Amazon customer service was very helpful and took me to the return process. I decided on a replacement instead of a refund, since trimmer (while working) was exactly what I had been looking for.

    I got my replacement trimmer next week. I was very careful to cut and lasted nearly two weeks. During these two weeks, and the cut I use the lowest speed possible. Under these conditions, I have not had any problems. But at the end of two weeks, when I was cut along the fence again, trimmer stopped working. I charged the battery trimmer night, but never worked again. To cut back for a refund.

    Both times, when hedge trimmer died, I was cut about 1 / 2 to 3 / 4 full speed continuously for about 5-10 minutes. My impression is that the Black and Decker did not take into account the amount of current that flows through the battery if you used the trimmer as they would a gas trimmer. With both my hedge trimmers, battery seems to have completely shorted (l ‘, or the engine or burn trimmer). If you use the trimmer at low speed, continuous speed or higher, you should be ok. But if you decide to use the trimmer at higher speeds without interruption for more time, you may experience a problem. I think Black and Decker must have installed a switch or security between battery and engine.

    This baby has some power! I took the other day and I must say I’m impressed. I had been using electricity in the past, and I barrowed a gas, once or twice. But I moved into a new house this winter, and has no garage, so I did not want to deal with disorder and nuisance and the smell of gas in the cellar, and all the rest.
    ;
    It ‘easy to use, I charged the battery the night that I took, and Saturday morning I popped in the battery and pulled the trigger and went. I’m tall, so I was glad to see the tree extends, so there is no need to bend down continuously. Nice! I had to get used to veriable speed. My old man did not have it.

    I must admit I was lazy this spring and let go a couple of weeks before I came around on the lawn so the grass was very high. In one corner, the grass still wet from rain the night before, but this thing just to tear. With the wet grass and the power of this thing was like turning the grass into a green smoothie. (Note, wear long pants!)

    The second thing I had to get used to was the battle for the additional line. A firm strokes and return to the line of intersection complete. I was using the automatic feed on my old (again, my lazy way). But I like it now, because there is no need to wait for the string trimmer for the power line.

    E ‘was really fun to use, you cut so much and so quickly. Now I need for my neighbor to give back to me before this Saturday rolls around.

    I’m glad I pulled the trigger to achieve this. I’m not the eco-ranger largest in the world, but I think that makes me a little ‘greener and the type of off-set my truck. Well, this is my my story in any case, atleast until I go hard core and install the grass!

    I’ve always been a gas trimmer guy because of power and not having to drag an extension cable. Cordless trimmers are better for the environment, but the power and run time is challenging. Finally, a trimmer, which is the best of both worlds! Watch your toes on this, as has plenty of 36V power. I am not the biggest yard, but so far I just need to load any third party users, after spending 30 minutes to run again. Energy Star approval Charger Twin is another plus. The battery is a bit ‘heavy, so weight distribution is something to get used to. Overall, this is the densest gas I’ve seen and totally worth the money!

    I was skeptical – especially on price. But in two years, I spent 3 hedge trimmer, all this would be the battery or electrical conductivity. He hated them all. I have waited long for a powerful trimmer, battery powered with a half decent performance. Love this trimmer. I used to think that the only powerful trimmer is powered. Not anymore.

    I used for two summers now. It is the ideal essential. And, even better, handles ivy, Vinca, bamboo and young vines, with ease, as long 40 minutes! Want to prune vines and weeds for more than that anyway?

    The tool is much better than the system found the drive shaft trimmer than any other – gas, batteries or electricity. Why did it take so long for someone to do this kind of guide, setup is a mystery to me. Only common sense.

    You need to exploit the trigger variable speed to get the most from the battery, and it will take a little ‘practice. When the grass trim and other “easy” things that do not need to run at full speed.

    As with all batteries, following the instructions and good habits charging going well. When I use the trimmer, I run down the battery as I can. Between the front and rear factors combined, this can take an hour or more to use the speed of regular and variable. Just to use it right, variable speed, about 40 minutes. Then run it right down, then load it up. E ‘Ni-Cad, so after a full charge, charger, and leave. The day before you plan to use tax top again. You will have a longer life if you do.

    What I’d like to see is a quick charge the battery (lithium would be nice) and less overall weight, but the weight are due to battery, lithium also moving to fix it. Other than that, it’s perfect. Highly recommend.
