Mar 06, 10 at 2:32 pmThe trimmer is cheap, and they say you get what you pay for.
I’ve read a few reviews, there have been complaints of not being able to start the device, or it will not run too long, and at any engine that identifies a problem of fuel. If one or two models Homelite string, the suction line of the fuel is a nightmare jury rig to be replaced immediately and should have been done correctly at the factory: Remove the plant installed rebuilt table and replace it with a fuel line, You can pick from a lawnmower shop, run the fuel line through the hole in the tank, connect the filter and then pull away from the tank until you have enough to attach to the engine intake.
You should not do this, but I was the finding that over 50% of what I purchase these days requires corrections for the initial design of evil.

Mar 06, 10 at 4:59 pmIf you buy one of these cheapo reconditioned homelites could also save money! Go to the casino and you will have a better chance to get something.
million so beautiful when I got out of the box today, but plans will not last more than 1-2 minutes. My dog eats more grass this Junker can trim.
Check the fine print when buying one of these instruments ——. They want to re-send or take it to a service center. More money spent.
I just wanted a trimmer, which worked!

Mar 06, 10 at 7:39 pmUnable to get this string trimmer started when I took it, I brought to the designated repair shop and was told that the carburetor was full of rust. This repair cost me $ 25. 00, not to mention a general guide, 20 miles to the workshop.
A few days later I noticed that the small station of natural gas leaks and all trimmer gas / oil mixture leaked out of my basement.
I called the company several times and has never been able to talk to anyone, why not answer the phone and did not return my calls.

Mar 06, 10 at 9:27 pmI am very disappointed with this product. I tried two units and both had the same problem. After a few uses pull starter mechanism, jams and not pull the rope start to leave the device unusable. I ended up returning both units and went to buy an Echo GT-200R. It was about 3 times the cost, but it worked perfectly, and comes with a warranty of 5 years.
I must say that Amazon was very good about handling returns and credits. I bought many things from Amazon in the past, and is the first time I was disappointed. We hope that this was an anomaly.

Mar 06, 10 at 11:56 pmFactory reconditioned 17-inch Homelite 26cc Gas Powered Mighty Lite Curved Shaft String Trimmer (Non-CARB Compliant) # ZR21506 Trimmer looked good and worked well for fifteen minutes. Off, and when I returned a few minutes later he discovered the plastic case of sore cracked, apparently from heat or vibration of the engine. Called the service number and was told to go to the nearest service center fifty miles away. Not worth the time and gas. Continue to spend as long as possible, but do not recommend this product to anyone.
