I used to run a freezer in the back of my retirement, when I went to hunt elk. It worked for 4 days – all the way from Virginia to Colorodo.

I bought this drive after different research models. My house is pretty rural and I lost the power of a dozen times a year. Approximately 2 of these interruptions lasting longer than a day so clear it will not help with this, because I have a dozen deep cycle batteries around.

This model has an incredible ability to start, and I bought this model because I wanted someone who could start and run my fridge from a battery, so I lost a couple of hundred dollars on food every time the power goes out. The manual indicates that this model can provide 2x rated power (1600 W in this case) for a total of 10 seconds. It ‘incredible and unheard of in an inverter that price. If you download the manuals for the most part, they may give 2x rated power, but only 0 1 second. 0. 1 seconds? It is certainly useful, and does not start an engine. I can confirm that this unit will be easy to start and manage both my refrigerator without difficulty. It ‘clear that the peak capacity of batteries is reduced capacity for energy savings and will not be 2x surge when the battery is low. Also, I was impressed with the manual recommends “Just try it” if you do not know if the inverter can handle the load. Indicating that they trust their design, and gives me confidence as well.

Just today I used this inverter with a battery trolling motor for my boat. I was able to watch TV and drive a lamp with a CFL bulb in about 5 hours until the power is back on. This includes my 57 “CRT TV, 700W amplifier and directive. My Kill-A-Watt EZ suggest that draws about 350W idle. And ‘from this drive for 5 hours without any problem and it was just warm to the touch. L ‘output is cleaner than my generator loan; television picture was rock solid, no artifacts sound through the amplifier.

    Subject:
    1) When the battery runs out, the surge capacity is reduced. He still had TV back an hour, but you can not open the refrigerator.
    2) The power is not clean enough to meet the UPS APC on my TiVo. He ran the battery up to UPS, he was convinced that my power was dirty. shifting power to the inverter directly address this issue.
    3) This device draws a lot of current when done. an evening of dice instead of the battery has been resolved and unity maintained arrest. When I realized the problem, I tightened the nut and all was well. The loose nut could not provide the power required to operate the inverter. Messy with the battery terminals and will give you a spark large, bright enough if your power is out. ;-)

ANT_ON_LINE not work with me to get a refund because the item is not what they have in their advertising, and I can use it as it came!
Whistler The product can be great, but they must not use ANT ON LINE as if a retailer is not responsible for their ads, or to their customers.
